Bessans Val d'Arc
With 80 km of varied, groomed and marked trails, Bessans, in the Savoie, lives up to its name of 'Nordic skiing country'. From mid-November to mid-April, at 1,750 metres, the Nordic area enjoys plentiful, good-quality snow in a remarkable natural setting.
Everything is designed for all styles: the profile and width of the trails suit skating, while classic skiers can use the whole area. There is also plenty of room for walks on foot or on snowshoes, gently crossing the sunny Nordic plateau.
