Auron

At 1,600 m altitude, Auron, a true village resort created in 1937, offers visitors the comfort they look for while preserving a traditional way of life.

Its ski area, the largest in the département, extends over 135 km and 42 runs, combining fun and technique over more than 800 m of vertical drop, with snowmaking. For variety, Auron offers areas for newer snow sports: snowpark, handrails…

For family holidays, quality facilities suited to very young children are available. But Auron also means many fun and sporting activities, things to do off the slopes, lively evenings and relaxation… a real cocktail of well-being between snow and sun!

At 1,140 m altitude and 7 km from the resort, the village of Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée is linked directly to the Auron ski area by the Pinatelle gondola.
