Valberg
Valberg, a charming, authentic and friendly village-resort, is only 1h15 from the Mediterranean coast, by taking the Cians or Daluis Gorges road. Valberg opened in 1936 with the first sledge-lift of the Alpes-Maritimes and has been celebrating for some months and until the end of summer 2017 its 80th birthday! The oldest resort in the département.
Warm atmospheres combining village houses, typical farms and modern accommodation, and breathtaking nature under an ever-present azure sun. Valberg lies at the top of a pass, letting you admire on the west slope the Saint-Honorat mountain chain and on the east slope Mont Mounier, the Beuil pastures and the Col de la Couillole.
