Aquarium Marin du Cap d'Agde

Hérault, Occitanie

The Cap d'Agde Marine Aquarium, in the Hérault, offers a discovery of the underwater life of the Mediterranean and tropical seas. The tanks recreate seabeds and present Mediterranean and tropical fish, reef sharks, corals, jellyfish, seahorses, octopuses and venomous fish.

The Galatée association provides the site's educational, cultural and scientific activities, making it a place of awareness of the fragility of the marine environment, useful to families as well as school groups.

Located on Rue des Deux-Frères, at Cap d'Agde, it is an outing easy to fit into a seaside stay, for example on days of uncertain weather, and can complement the underwater trail offered in the same resort in summer.

In the absence of a recent dated source, it is advisable to check visit conditions on the official website before travelling.
