AKROBRANCH d'Orlu
Akrobranch d'Orlu is an outdoor adventure park at Orlu, about 8 km from Ax-les-Thermes, in the Ariège Pyrenees. It occupies a beech forest at around 950 m altitude, above the waterfalls of the Oriège, close to the Orlu nature reserve.
The park offers several adventure courses combining treetop trails, climbing and via ferrata. Levels range from balance areas for toddlers to black courses for the most experienced, so families with children of very different ages can all take part.
The Orlu canyon, which follows the Oriège through the site with its waterfalls, pools and natural slides, can be explored with a qualified guide. Paintball completes the activities. Everything takes place in a forest and mountain setting, on the edge of the river gorges.
