Sillon de Talbert
Phew! A haven of total peace, a place unique in the world for its specificity. An isthmus protected for bird breeding, notably the second classified site for the breeding of little terns. A tiny strip 3 km long and a few tens of metres wide, where the walker will leave the land to abandon himself to the sea enclosing it. There, no noise but that of the wind, going back 12,000 years before our era, when the sea was 120 metres lower, and frost fragmented the rock that spread, thanks to currents, into a long, adventurous and melancholy furrow. The history of the seaweed gatherers is part of this site, intoxicating with all its iodine and oxygen. Prefer high tide to enjoy the site fully.
