Roseraie de Provins

Seine-et-Marne, Île-de-France

The Provins Rose Garden was awarded the "Remarkable Garden" label in 2014. More than a classic French rose garden, it is a green setting at the foot of the medieval town from which you enjoy magnificent views along the visit. It houses more than 450 varieties of old and modern roses including the famous Provins Rose. You thus discover the charm of an enchanting place that was originally a nursery left abandoned. A year of work was needed to open to the public in 2008. The Rose Garden is now organised in green "rooms" with rose beds, interlacing trees and flowers, climbing roses and other unexpected discoveries.
