Prehisto Dino Parc

Préhisto Dino Parc is a prehistoric theme park at Lacave, in the Lot, on the road between Souillac and Rocamadour. It traces the history of life from the Big Bang to the Neolithic, by way of the dinosaurs.

The forest trail, with sound effects, presents life-size reconstructions. It includes a reconstructed Neolithic village, a dig around a T-Rex bust, a river where visitors search for minerals and, during the autumn half-term holidays, a cave-art workshop.

The Carbonnières cave is on the route, with 350 metres of step-free galleries and a sound-and-light show. A sandwich bar and picnic area are available. The park is open almost all year.
