Parc Zoologique des Abrets
The Domaine des Fauves, at Les Abrets in the Isère, is about 45 minutes from Lyon, 40 minutes from Grenoble and 35 minutes from Chambéry. It covers three hectares.
More than 150 animals of some sixty species are shown in a green setting accessible to all. As its name suggests, the park specialises in predators, furred or feathered, from five continents. A visit can last from two hours to most of a day.
