Parc naturel de Boutissaint
The Boutissaint nature park covers 400 hectares on the border of the Yonne and the Nièvre, in the west of the Yonne, in the communes of Treigny, Moutiers and Saint-Fargeau. This peaceful place is rich in wildlife and plants.
It is a forest of century-old oaks with three ponds, two natural springs and an old 13th-century priory, designed as a nature conservatory. Some 400 animals live here freely: red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, wild boar, European bison and ponies.
