Palais Rihour
A historic monument since 1875, the Palais Rihour in Lille, in the Nord, is all that remains of a palace built in the 15th century by Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy. The guardroom houses the city's tourist office, and upstairs the Conclave Room and the sacristy are open to visitors.
It is one of the few examples of late Gothic architecture left in Lille. The Conclave Room was the palace's former chapel and served as the meeting room of the city magistrates from 1684. With rib vaults and a single nave, it now hosts temporary exhibitions.
