Musée Robert-Tatin

The Robert-Tatin museum, at Cossé-le-Vivien in the Mayenne, reveals the private world of the artist Robert Tatin, whose house, where some of his paintings are displayed, can be visited.

Several small gardens and hedged areas, designed by Tatin at the same time as his sculptures, are an integral part of the work and form a coherent whole. As you walk round, it is tempting to look for influences, but the overriding impression is of something never seen before.
