Territoire de Belfort, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

The painter Bernard Gantner opens to visitors the rolling 20-hectare park in the Territoire de Belfort that he has been shaping for 40 years. It has bridges, Japanese pools, an exceptional moss forest, an arboretum of more than 800 species, ponds, waterfalls and forest paths on the hillside.

The animal park has Japanese sika deer, fallow deer, reindeer, alpacas, llamas, Falabellas (miniature horses), a miniature cow and rare goat species. It makes a timeless walk.
