Mémorial des batailles de la Marne
Built from 1921 to 1931, the Dormans Memorial, in the Marne, commemorates the victories of the Marne in 1914 and 1918. The interior of the chapel is entirely dedicated to the glory 'of the soldiers, the army and the nation', and its architecture is Gothic in inspiration.
A museum has been set up in a room reached from the upper chapel. Its display cases hold objects bearing witness to the war: uniforms, weapons and items from soldiers' daily life.
