Legendia Parc

Loire-Atlantique, Pays de la Loire

Legendia Parc is a leisure and wildlife park in Frossay, in Loire-Atlantique, over about thirty hectares. It opened in 1992 under the name Sentier des Daims, before taking its present name in 2016. Its theme, tales and legends, sets it apart from other French parks.

The route mixes an animal world and settings inspired by the imagery of stories: you meet animals such as wolves or wallabies, and places evoking fairy-tale worlds, such as the Unicorn Cascade or the Dragon Hunter's Villa. A small train lets you tour the site as a family, and shows complete the visit. The park is aimed mainly at children and families, who can spend a day there in a rural setting near the Loire estuary.
