Le Muséum de L'Ardèche - PaléOdécouvertes
The Muséum de l'Ardèche, devoted to palaeontological discoveries, traces the origins of the Ardèche and the history of life through the world of fossils, over 500 million years.
The route leads into the sea floor of the Ardèche 165 million years ago, with a remarkable Jurassic fauna of sharks, squid, lobsters and octopuses. These fossils come from a deposit presented as one of the twenty most exceptional sites in the world.
