Le Musée des Jouets de Montauban
The Toy Museum in Montauban, in the Tarn-et-Garonne, grew out of the passion of an engineer, Gérard Misrai, for Meccano toys and building model castles. This passion led him to collect hundreds of old toys of all kinds.
More than 2,000 pieces are on display: model trains, Meccano models, Tour de France riders and caravans, toy boats, tin soldiers, cars… A play area lets visitors try a Punch and Judy-style puppet theatre and games of skill.
