Festyland
Festyland is a family amusement park near Caen, in Normandy, on the Caumont road at Carpiquet, in the Calvados. Its world centres on the characters Festy and Dina and draws on Norman history and legends: a Viking longship, William's ride and Matilda's castle.
The rides are in three categories: for toddlers, for the whole family and for thrill-seekers. They include the Drakkar Express, a themed train, as well as roundabouts, slides and play trails; Valkyrie is new for the 2026 season.
In summer the park offers shows and family entertainment, and there are restaurants and shops. It is aimed mainly at children and their parents and opens in season, from April to the end of September, closing in winter.
