Château du Moulin
The château du Moulin, at Lassay-sur-Croisne, in the Loir-et-Cher, has been listed on the historic monuments since 1926 and classified since 1927. Built in 1492 by Jacques de Persigny, architect of the Court, for Philippe du Moulin, youthful companion and captain of King Charles VIII, it reflects its towers in the water of its moats.
Built on the plan of a feudal castle, it has kept over the years the architectural value of a monument of French art. It is in Sologne, in the middle of nature, which gives it a calm and preserved setting. The visit lets you discover an example of a brick château at the transition between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
