Château de Mercuès
The Château de Mercuès, in the Lot, is a 13th-century château with a chapel, overlooking the Lot valley and the Cahors vineyards. It is the former residence of the count-bishops of Cahors.
It now houses a hotel, whose rooms combine modern facilities with traditional features: exposed beams, dressed stone, French parquet floors and solid furniture. The château is not open to visitors outside the hotel.
