Château de la Muyre
The Château de la Muyre, in the Jura, has belonged to the Counts of Grivel since 1624. For twenty years it underwent major restoration by Count Claude de Grivel, working with a few Compagnons craftsmen.
The château has parts of different periods and was considerably remodelled; the dates 1581 and 1616 carved on some stones may be reused blocks. A gallery from the charterhouse of Vaucluse at Onoz was rebuilt here around 1956.
