Cascade Saint-Nicolas

Haut-Rhin, Grand Est

The Saint-Nicolas waterfall is a waterfall of the Vosges massif, on the boundary of the communes of Kruth and Oderen, in the Haut-Rhin. It lies in the upper Thur valley, a mid-mountain area covered with forests, appreciated by hikers. Little known to passing visitors, it is easily discovered as a complement to a walk in the Saint-Amarin valley. Its flow depends on rainfall and snowmelt, with the finest falls in spring and after rain.
