Cascade de la Pisseure
Just a few kilometres from the centre of Besançon, in the Doubs, the Pisseure waterfall offers a surprising escape into nature, hidden in a limestone valley carved by a modest stream.
The water runs down a moss-covered rock wall before forming a small pool, in the damp, shady atmosphere typical of the combes of the first Jura plateau. Reached by a short path from the commune of Beure, it remains a popular walk for people from Besançon looking for somewhere cool.
