Avoriaz 1800
Set on a "full south" plateau overlooking the Morzine valley, Avoriaz 1800 is at the heart of the largest ski area in Europe: Les Portes du Soleil.
A shared pass for the 12 Portes du Soleil resorts, giving access to 650 km of pistes, lets skiers cross the border freely and treat themselves to a gourmet stop in Switzerland.
From the first glance, Avoriaz bewitches with its magic. Clinging to the mountain, it sparkles with the thousand fires of the sun playing on the red cedar shingles covering the façades. Wood elegantly clothes every residence, every chalet.
Entirely pedestrian, sleighs glide through the heart of the resort and pass skiers, children on sledges and walkers in a cheerful jingle of bells.
Avoriaz delights young and old thanks to activities suited to everyone: the smallest learn to ski at Annie Famose's Children's Village while the older ones discover the Stash, the first ecological snowpark in Europe.
