Aqualand de Gujan-Mestras
Aqualand Bassin d'Arcachon is a seasonal water park on the Route des Lacs at Gujan-Mestras, in the Gironde, close to the Arcachon basin and the Dune du Pilat. It is planted with trees, giving it a jungle atmosphere close to the idea of a tropical lagoon.
The park offers about fifteen water activities. A wave pool, called Surf Beach, and a calm pool sit alongside bubble baths and a children's area named Children's Paradise. The slides are colour-coded in three levels of difficulty, so everyone can choose their rides.
There is no accommodation in the park, but there are many hotels, campsites and B&Bs in Gujan-Mestras, near the Dune du Pilat or in Arcachon. The park opens in summer; the 2026 season ended in early September.
