Sittellia, espace aqualudique
Sittellia is an aquatic leisure centre in the Parc des Sittelles, at Montfort-le-Gesnois, in the Sarthe, about twenty kilometres from Le Mans. It is open all year round.
The facility includes a 25 m sports pool, a Nordic bath, a leisure pool with water jets, a paddling pool and a slide. A retractable roof turns the pool into an outdoor space in summer. For relaxation, it offers a solarium, sauna and hammam, and a cardio-fitness room completes the whole.
The centre offers many supervised activities: baby swimming, swimming lessons, aquagym and aquabiking, as well as Les Mills-type fitness classes such as BodyPump, RPM or XBX boxing. It is aimed as much at families as at regular athletes. Hours vary by period: it is better to confirm them by phone before going.
