Salt de Maria Valenta

Pyrénées-Orientales, Occitanie

The Salt de Maria Valenta, or "Saut de la Marie Vaillante", is a waterfall of the upper Vallespir, in the commune of Arles-sur-Tech, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. It is on a small tributary of the Tech, the Còrrec de la Senyoral, in the territory of the former commune of Fontanils, not far from the church of Sainte-Croix de Quercorb.

It is known notably for canyoning. Note: access by the marked path has been obstructed following the renovation of a farmhouse below. Check locally before travelling and respect private property.
