Saint Pierre de Chartreuse
Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse is a ski resort in the Isère, just thirty minutes from Grenoble, in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park. Its ski area, from 900 to 1,800 metres, is the largest in the Chartreuse massif, with 35 kilometres of runs served by 16 lifts. Particularly suited to families and beginners, it also attracts off-piste enthusiasts thanks to its varied terrain.
The commune lies in the heart of the Chartreuse pre-Alpine massif and includes some of its high peaks, such as Chamechaude, the highest point of the massif, the Charmant Som and the Dent de Crolles.
