Puits de la Brême
The Brême, a tributary of the Loue, has the particularity of partly disappearing into a chasm, called the Puits de la Brême or Black Well. The water lost in this chasm joins an underground river and rejoins the Loue about ten kilometres further on. In times of high water, the opposite phenomenon occurs: the chasm pushes water back and swells the Brême with its waters.
