Praz sur Arly

Haute-Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Praz-sur-Arly is a village resort in the Haute-Savoie, at about 1,000 metres in the Val d'Arly, between Megève and Flumet, facing the Mont Blanc massif. Its centre has kept the character of a mountain village, with chalets and hamlets stepped along the Arly river.

In winter the resort is linked to the Espace Diamant, a large ski area shared with Les Saisies, Hauteluce, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Flumet and Crest-Voland-Cohennoz. It holds the 'Famille Plus' label for welcoming children and families.

In summer the valley is good for hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and other outdoor activities, as well as walks along the Arly. Its position right next to Megève makes it a practical base for exploring the Mont Blanc country in a quieter, more rural setting.
