Musée Rodin de Meudon

Hauts-de-Seine, Île-de-France

The Villa des Brillants is one of the two sites of the Musée Rodin, at Meudon in the Hauts-de-Seine.

While the Hôtel Biron in Paris highlights the genius and power of the artist's work, the Meudon site offers a much more personal view of Auguste Rodin, whose tomb is here. It is first of all the house where Rodin and his companion, Rose Beuret, lived from 1893, with its furniture and photographs of its occupants, giving an insight into the artist's daily life.
