Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace
The Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget, in the Seine-Saint-Denis, is the largest aviation museum in France and one of the largest in the world. It occupies part of Le Bourget airport, north of Paris.
Some aircraft are displayed in halls, the largest being the 'Grande Galerie', while the sturdiest planes stand outdoors. The museum's reserves, including more than 150 aircraft, are mostly kept within the airport on the side opposite the museum, in the commune of Dugny. Access to the permanent collections became free for all in 2012.
