Le Parc Astérix

Oise, Hauts-de-France

Parc Astérix is a theme park in Plailly, in the Oise, north of Paris. Open since 1989, it is devoted to the world of the Astérix comic books created by Goscinny and Uderzo. It welcomes families with children as well as teenagers and adults looking for thrills.

The park brings together roller coasters, rides, water attractions, shows and shops, spread across themed areas inspired by Gaul, Greece, Rome and Egypt. In 2026, the Egypt area completes its transformation: the Oxygénarium becomes the Descente du Nil and the old swing ride turns into the Envol d'Ibis. The Rue de Paris has been demolished to make way for Londinium, announced for 2028.

The park operates seasonally, from spring to early November, then during the end-of-year holidays. In autumn, Halloween evenings, 'Peur sur le Parc', offer haunted houses and night-time shows.
