La Vallee des Tortues
La Vallée des Tortues, created by Françoise Malirach at Sorède in the Pyrénées-Orientales, is a wildlife park devoted entirely to tortoises and turtles. It presents more than 500 of them, of some thirty species, on a two-hectare site.
The tortoises of the world are discovered along a pleasant botanical trail, leading from the garrigue and local wildlife to a carefully recreated landscape of the Seychelles.
