La Cité De l'Espace
The Cité de l'espace is a scientific and cultural theme park devoted to space, located in Toulouse, in the Haute-Garonne. It celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2026 and welcomed its nine millionth visitor in July of that year.
The site covers more than five hectares. The visit alternates exhibitions, interactive activities and full-size spacecraft, including the Mir space station. One area, the Cité des Petits, is designed for younger children, and the LunExplorer is among the experiences on offer.
The venue is aimed at families, school groups and anyone curious about science and astronomy. It also hosts stargazing evenings, such as the Nuit des étoiles in August. Opening periods vary with the season: it is best to check the official calendar before you come.
