Donjon de Niort
The keep of Niort, in the Deux-Sèvres, is a listed historic monument of exceptional importance for the history of medieval military building. It was built under the Plantagenets in the 12th century and completed in the 15th and 18th centuries.
It hosts temporary exhibitions, and guided tours of the monument are offered to the public. Access to the terrace reveals a wide panorama over the surrounding area.
