Château de Roche-sur-Loue

Doubs, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

When it was built in the 11th century, the Château de Roche-sur-Loue, in the Doubs, was a fortified castle overlooking the Loue valley.

It was entirely rebuilt in 1756 by the Marquis de Grammont to turn it into a residence, and it is this 18th-century château that can be seen today. It is private property and is not open to visitors.
