Château de Folleville
The castle of Folleville, in the Somme, was first and foremost a fortress, built to military standards. Despite its dismantled walls, several features can still be seen: the tower, three corner turrets, arrow slits, machicolations, ditches and an underground refuge, while the drawbridge and dungeons have disappeared.
The ruins, the archaeological ground of the castle and the guards' pavilion are listed as historic monuments; the fine remains belong to the commune. The Flamboyant Gothic Church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur-et-Saint-Jean-Baptiste, also listed, completes a visit to the village.
