Château de Barly
The guided tour of the Château de Barly, in the Pas-de-Calais, covers the farmyard and the main courtyard, the free-standing chapel, then, inside the château, the entrance corridor, the grand staircase, the dining room, the 'entrance salon' and the 'drawing room'.
The three main rooms are decorated with very fine original panelling by the Arras sculptor César Lepage and have been carefully refurnished. The commentary covers the history of the house and explains the décor. Before leaving, visitors can stroll in the 2.15-hectare wooded park.
