Château d'Ormesson-sur-Marne

Val-de-Marne, Île-de-France

On the border of the Val-de-Marne and the Seine-et-Marne, the Château d'Ormesson enjoys a very pleasant setting just 13 km from Paris. It was built in 1580 on the land of the village of Amboile, named after the family that owned it until the 14th century.

The vast park, crossed by the Morbras stream, is remarkably laid out with pools and broad lawns, and now hosts the only 18-hole golf course in the Val-de-Marne.
