Cascade et Canyon d'Angon
The Angon waterfall lies above Talloires, on the east shore of Lake Annecy, in Haute-Savoie. It marks the entrance to one of the canyons around the lake: a very vertical route whose first major obstacle is this drop of about 60 metres, popular with canyoning enthusiasts.
For walkers, the path starts from the Talloires car park and follows signs for the Cascade d'Angon. It passes through the hamlets of Le Vivier, La Closette and La Closettaz, then runs along a cliff to the foot of the falls. A short detour also leads to the Pont des Fées and the viewpoint.
